La Capilla Hotel

Hello , Las weekend I celebrated my mothers 80th bday at La Capilla Hotel in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato. The location is absolutely beautiful! My guests were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the location. And I have to mention that the owners were the kindest of people to do business with. Alejandro was always kind and helpful with all of our needs before and during the party. They have a new boutique hotel with gorgeous rooms for guests, a nice terrace were you can have breakfast at , a pool and lovely gardens, so if you are planning on having a wedding, convention you name it, La Capilla Hotel in Dolores is a perfect option, only like a 20 minute drive from downtown San Miguel de Allende.

We came here in the month of March. We stayed 4 nights for a wedding that has been celebrated in Dolores Hidalgo, 10 minutes away by car. We were around 20 people from all over the world and also all friends with each other. I am Italian and I live in London. My expectations it’s always very high and often I get disappointed about the places I go because lots of times don’t reflect what you actually see on the website or the reviews you read before booking, but this time I couldn’t find anything wrong. This place is amazing!!!!!! There is a big swimming pool with external bar and kitchen and anytime you need anything a member of the staff will come and assist you. The rooms are big and very clean ! Alex that is in charge of the resort it’s always makes sure you have everything you need. The staff is very polite, professional and efficient ! You will not have any tipe of problems here. This is a place where problems don’t exists. I highly suggest you to come and stay in this place, there is no doubt you will love it as I do.

This place is amazing! And the staff were friendly, attentive and super helpful. We hosted our wedding in Dolores Hidalgo and La capilla was the place were all our friends and family stayed for the weekend. They looked after all our guests in a special way, they are all pleased and happy after the holiday. The hotel has big outdoor areas were you can swim, sunbathe cicle or enjoy a long walk. Really good location, driving - 10 min away from Dolores Hidalgo and 25 min away from San Miguel de Allende. They really made our wedding weekend a special one!

This place is a must go! A paradise 10 mins away from Dolores Hidalgo!! The place and the rooms are stunning, with large spaces and high ceilings, giving a beautiful sense of peace. The outdoor area with the big swimming pool is a beautiful oasi with staff always available to help. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and caring, available at anytime of the day. The attention to details in both service and design is beautiful here. I loved staying at La Capilla. A big thank you to Alex and his team!!!

Really nice hotel, the outside pool area is just amazing to hang out an relax. The staff is super friendly and happy to help with anything. The freshly made breakfast is also delicious!

Tuvimos una gran experiencia en familia, todo muy cómodo y limpio. Las personas tienen una increíble atención y son amables. Las instalaciones son otro nivel, todo está hermoso, y estás a tan solo 20 min de San Miguel de Allende, es muy céntrico. La mejor opción, volveremos pronto.

Excellent quaint stay with incredible views, delicious food and wonderful service. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Alex- who already knew our names and made us feel right at home. The rooms are impeccable, quiet, and comfortable. Felt like a high-end getaway in little Dolores. A must stay. Will definitely return and recommend to friends!

Un lugar hermoso, lleno de tranquilidad, limpieza impecable, habitaciones espaciosas con camas muy cómodas, comida deliciosa y ¡LA MEJOR ATENCIÓN!, cada una de las personas estaba dispuesta a consentirnos con calidez y excelente servicio. La experiencia de cenar al pie de la fogata con chocolate caliente y bombones fue maravillosa. Definitivamente regresamos pronto
